Art Production Fund Mentors Announced!

Through Art Production Fund, CultureCIVIC continues to provide support with the aim of increasing new productions in the field of contemporary art and creating opportunities for young artists. The programme will provide grant support of up to €240,000 to a total of 40 art projects under two open calls until 2028. In addition to financial support, the Art Production Fund continues to provide guidance to artists during the production process through mentors. To this end, Ezgi Bakçay, Elif Kamışlı, Zeyno Pekünlü and Başak Doğa Temür will mentor the artists.

Established to support artists and artist collectives aged 25-45 who are at the beginning of their careers and working in the field of visual arts, the Art Production Fund offers supported applicants the opportunity to develop their works with the mentorship support of established names in the Turkish art scene. This support aims to provide artists with the opportunity to produce new works, while also creating a space for sharing experiences, networking and accessing the art world.

The mentors of the Art Production Fund will provide personal guidance to artists in the production process of their art projects. Mentors will be responsible for five projects in each open call, and the projects will be distributed according to their areas of expertise.
