CultureCIVIC is Introduced with an Online Press Conference

The new European Union project CultureCIVIC, which aims to provide support to culture and arts projects for a vibrant civil society in Turkey, is introduced with a press conference on Wednesday, 23 June 2021 via Zoom. Director of CultureCIVIC Ayşe Utku Erarslan from Goethe-Institut Istanbul, Director of Goethe-Institut Istanbul Dr. Reimar Volker, Diyarbakır Art Center program coordinator Övgü Gökçe Yaşa, which started its activities with the foundation of Anadolu Kültür in 2002, Bige Örer, Director of Istanbul Biennial and İKSV Contemporary Art Projects, and Füsun Eriksen, Director of the Danish Culture Institute Turkey Office participated at the press conference. Moderated by Yekta Kopan, the representatives of the partner institutions of CultureCIVIC conveyed the details of the project, which aims to support civil society organisations, artists, initiatives and activists operating in the fields of culture and arts in Turkey.
