Beautiful City Company

September 2025 - April 2026
Antalya

As bullying among children and in cities increases day by day, tolerance and community awareness are gradually diminishing. There may not be much opportunity for social adaptation after migration. Amidst increasingly difficult conditions, it is often not possible for every family and child in need of psychological support to receive it.

The Beautiful City Company aims to support the development processes of the children by providing tools to develop the social skills they gain through play, as well as content such as examples of conflict resolution.

The Beautiful City Company is an education and production project in Antalya for individuals who want to develop in the fields of storytelling and physical theatre, carried out in collaboration with expert psychologists, directors and dramaturgs. Under the guidance of expert psychologists, the aim is to write four original stories addressing children's developmental areas such as self-awareness, self-regulation, conflict resolution, emotional resilience and personal hygiene. These stories will be transformed into interactive short children's plays with the support of a dramaturg and will be performed for children by a team of local participants trained in storytelling and physical theatre.

Through the Beautiful City Company, the aim is to support children's social, life and emotional skills through play and to share life-enhancing tools. At the same time, the aim is to establish the Beautiful City Company as a permanent entity, providing a home for an artistic community within the city that supports one another and draws inspiration from itself and the city, thereby making the city more beautiful through our artistic productions.
