Soup with Chicken Broth

Every day, dozens of women become victims of violence and many of them lose their lives. This short film project, which plans to question this system where masculine domination prevails and the phenomenon of justice completely protects the perpetrators, discusses the potential of masculine violence through a character that has a high status in society. In this system, where every man can be a potential perpetrator, our project, which examines the background of the decision made, regarding the victim's request, aims to create a strong voice and theme.

Deniz Büyükkırlı

She has graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, and Department of Cinematography-TV in 2012. She has worked as a scriptwriter in many TV series on national channels. Although “Chicken Broth Soup” is the first short film project she will direct, she still continues to write scripts on various platforms.
